Tectus Joins DEZ, Expanding our Roof Energy Services Platform

Tectus Flachdachabdichtungen GmbH (“Tectus”) has joined dach energiezukunft (DEZ), the roof energy services platform focused on energy-efficient refurbishment of commercial and industrial flat roofs and the integration of rooftop solar, backed by Vidia Climate Fund I. With Tectus, DEZ completes its fourth acquisition, further strengthening the platform’s capabilities in the German market for roof energy services.

Founded more than 40 years ago and headquartered in Munich, Tectus has built a strong reputation with blue-chip industrial clients for delivering complex, large-scale energetic refurbishment and construction of commercial and industrial flat roofs. In recent years, Tectus has also emerged as a leading green-roofing provider in southern Germany. With a team of more than 50 people and a seasoned subcontractor network, Tectus strategically expands DEZ’s platform capabilities. At the same time, Tectus is well positioned to drive the expansion of the solar business in southern Germany by leveraging the existing know-how and resources.

Leadership continuity accompanies this next chapter: Sebastian Richter, who has been with Tectus for more than seven years, and Carsten Bölke, who has been with the company for over twenty years, will continue in their respective roles as managing director and authorized signatory. Founder and managing director Peter Ruppert transitions into retirement after successfully growing and leading the business over two decades.
